Drape & Dazzle

Drape & Dazzle is a saree boutique in Dallas, run for women who left India but not the wardrobe. Every piece is handpicked rather than bought in bulk, and each one travels a long way before it reaches a customer's hands. That journey set the brief. The packaging had to survive an international parcel and still open like something chosen, because for most of these customers the unboxing is the shop. There is no counter, no mirror, no assistant. We built for that moment: protection on the outside, and inside, the feeling of a boutique bag handed across a counter in Tamil Nadu.
