What is the difference between woven labels and printed labels?

Woven labels interlock coloured threads during weaving, so the design is part of the fabric. Printed labels apply ink on top of a satin or nylon base. Woven labels last longer, feel softer against skin, and hold up through hundreds of wash cycles without fading -- which is why premium clothing brands prefer them.
